Job description: We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in structural analysis using the Finite Element Method (FEM) and industry-standard tools such as ANSYS Workbench, Siemens Simcenter 3D, Abaqus, Altair HyperWorks. The ideal candidate will have experience working on large rotating machines and will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

– Perform structural analysis of mechanical components using FEM.

– Utilize ANSYS and other industry-standard tools for simulation and optimization.

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and analyze large rotating machinery.

– Develop design specifications and documentation for mechanical systems.

– Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

– Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in mechanical design.

– Participate in project planning and execution to meet deadlines.

Job Description: We are looking for a Mechanical CAD Engineer with experience in designing large machines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concept design, detailed design, and manufacturing drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Experience with large rotating machines is an added advantage. This role involves close collaboration with manufacturing teams for prototyping and testing, as well as working with experts to validate designs.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop concept designs and detailed designs for large machinery.

– Create manufacturing drawings adhering to GD&T standards.

– Generate comprehensive bills of materials (BOM) for projects.

– Coordinate with manufacturing teams to facilitate prototyping and testing processes.

– Collaborate closely with subject matter experts to gather inputs and validate design concepts.

– Utilize industry-standard CAD software for modeling and drafting.

– Employ PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) tools to manage project data effectively.

Desired Skills & Qualification:

– Familiarity with large rotating machines is a distinct advantage.

– Proficient in using industry-standard CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, UG NX, AutoCAD).

– Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and GD&T principles.
