Job Title         :      Design Engineer – Mechanical(Reverse Engineering)

Job Location     :     Chennai, India

Experience Range:  5 to  9 Yrs

Education Qualification:  BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Mechanical, Industrial, Production, Mining

Job description: The Design engineer is responsible for Reverse engineering of Crusher, SAG, Ball mills parts in order to create CAD models from scanned data utilising softwares such as Geomagic, Spaceclaim, Mesh2surface.

Desired Skills :

Experience in Design & engineering preferably in Mining, Bulk Material Handling, Heavy Engineering Domains

Excellent interpersonal communication skills with an ability to effectively communicate with International Clients

Job Role & Responsibilities: 

Independently lead scan processing projects using reverse engineering method for crusher & mill products.

Work on scan data generated from scanners such as FARO, CREAFORM.

Analyze, clean, align and convert raw point cloud data to usable Point cloud data using FARO SCENE and Creaform Vxelements

Extract Mesh as STL files from point cloud data using software such as GEOMAGIC, Spaceclaim, Rhino 3D, Mesh2surface, Solid edge

Analyze the physical form for deformities, missing parts, worn out details and recreate accurately into 3D & 2D CAD models.

Generate reports with weight, dimensions, including wear analysis with supported graphic material.

Interface with clients, manufacturing team and develop accurate drawings ready for manufacture using AutoDESK Inventor software

Evaluate tolerance stack-ups to insure proper fit of components by application of GD&T techniques
